The Frank Smith* Nature Photography Competition 2024
*Frank Smith was a local resident who was instrumental in the planning, planting and maintenance of our lovely green space 'Newleaze'. Frank was also in charge of local voluteers who looked after other green spaces such as Monk's Pool and Bradley Brook.

We are very lucky to have some wonderful green spaces within our parish and to celebrate this we are launching a Nature Photography Competition.
We invite residents of Winterbourne Parish to submit photographs on the theme of ‘Nature through the seasons’
The parish encompasses Winterbourne, Winterbourne Down, Moorend, Hambrook and Frenchay (a map can be found in the ‘Your Council’ section of our website).
The competition will run from December 2024 to mid November 2025 with one winner and two runners up for each season (December – February: March – May: June – August: September – 10th November).
The winning entries will be included in a calendar with an exhibition and prize giving taking place at the beginning of December.
Please email entries to clerk@winterbournepc.co.uk and include your full name, age and a brief description of your photograph which must include the location.
Maximum Size for photographs is 2MB and should be landscape only
By submitting your photograph you agree for Winterbourne Parish Council to use your photograph for promotional purposes
