About Climate & Nature

Welcome to Winterbourne Parish Council’s Climate and Nature Page.

Our Climate and Nature Committee was established in 2024; the committee recognises the urgency of the Climate and Nature Crisis, and the need make a difference locally. 

The Climate and Nature Committee includes;

The Committee are supported by the Climate and Nature Administrator.

Our aim is to protect our local biodiversity and reduce the impact of climate change at the same time as helping our communities adapt to the changing climate and ultimately increasing future local resilience.

With the help and support of individuals, families, businesses, organisations, landowners, South Gloucestershire Council and community groups, we can make our villages a place for wildlife to thrive and humans to flourish.
