- Start on Snailhams Lane Winterbourne
- Walk down Snailhams Lane, go through the small metal gate to the right of the main gate and continue walking down the track
- Take the track off to the right and continue following the track.
- Again follow the track to the right through the tunnel of trees. Look out for the birds here in the trees you can often see blue tits
- Follow the tunnel of trees to the end and go through the kissing gate
- Travel through the next field, sticking to the footpath along the hedgerow to your right
- Go through the small gate into the next field. Please note there are often horses in this field so ensure you have dogs on leads and move slowly and quietly.
- Take and immediate right and go through the kissing gate out of the field into the next
- Walk through this field towards the woods infront of you
- Go through the kissing gate into the small woodland look out for the beautiful bluebells in May and the sweet little Tree Creeper birds which you may see if you wait for long enough
- Follow the track to the left and exit the woods up the hillock to the left where you will find 'withybed' water works
- Take the dirt track away from the woods past the old combine on your right
- Take a left turn through the willow plantation field, follow the track, along the blackthorn hedge
- Turn left over the style and walk through this field
- Exit the field and follow the track up and round to the right then to the left at the big oak tree and you will find yourself back on Snailhams Lane
- Then, again, go through the small metal gate, back to where you started at Newleaze Woods
